In general, foods with a high content of amino acids are those that contain a lot of protein.

Getting specific amino acids into you body via a regular diet is somewhat difficult. This is because amino acids found in foods are bound to one another. Free-form, pure amino acids are therefore only available through sports or nutritional supplements. However, there are specific foods that have a relatively high concentration of certain amino acids:

Foods rich in L-arginine

Nuts

Foods with a lot of BCAA

Chicken

Foods with a high content of tryptophan

Milk

Foods with a high cysteine content
